Alright, this question concerns two 2000 model DII's, one with the SE7 jumpseats, one without. The SE7 owner wants the jump seats removed and replaced with storage cubbies, while the 5-seater owner wants to install the aforementioned jumpseats in his non-SE7 Rover.
Now that you have the background, here is the quandary. Both seats and headrests have been removed from the SE7, along with all hardware and mounting equipment. All mounting brackets and bolts are in place from the factory on all DII's for the addition of the two rear jumpseats. The problem lies in the removal of the seatbelts from the D pillars. How the hell is this done? Would it be easier to swop the interior D pillar plastic molding between the two Rovers as well?
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
