DII rear door hinge

A guy in my neighborhood has a 2000 DII and has somehow bent the lower hinge of his tail door beyond usable limits. I have no idea how he did it.

As far as I can see RAVE shows the procedure for replacing the entire door but not just the hinge,and its not obvious at first glance how to replace it. There is a plastic cover over what appears to be an access hole near where the hinge enters the door. If the plastic cover is removed is a bolt then visible to allow the hinge to be removed?

I'm just trying to help out this neighbor. And if anyone has a hinge in Oslo Blue please let me know.

I actually am preparing to do the same job on my 2000 disco. I looked at the hinge and there are two rivets that attach it to the door(visible from the outside) and two bolts that connect it to the door which you have to take the panel off to see.
