DII Ski Rack

Hi everyone,

I had my Thule ski rack all sorted out on my DI. Now that I have a DII I need a way to mount it. I have the Factory cross bars. Anyone know if Thule's widemouth universal adapter will work my cross bars? Does anyone have any other solutions.

I'd rather not spend $250 on a thule rack system when I already have cross bars.

buy the thule towers and ditch the factory crossbars. use your old setup.

I'd ditch them but the key is missing haha. Dealer cannot reorder.

I have Yakima Towers, King Cobra and Kayak carrier. I have a Thule Sidearm bike carrier. The Sidearm is a more sturdy bike carrier for my style of driving. havent had anything on my DII in forever, i dont think I have had the Thule sidearm on the DII at all.
I have the exact same system on LR3 and DII except for the towers.

I run a Thule ski rack that mounts to my factory rack.
Perfect setup
Cost me $160 last year
Looks like it's gone up alot.

Works great and comes with locks. Must bolt it down with allen key. So it takes about 10 minutes to install or remove it.
