I'm selling my subwoofer enclosure. I basically used sound deadening all over the enclosure and mounted two JL Audio 6.5" subs in the box. They can be wired for either 4 ohm or 2 ohm pretty easily. They definitely sound better than the factory speakers. You will have to enlarge the hole to fit the bigger magnets but that's not too much work.

Speakers have about 6 months of use on them.

Also included is an Alpine Mono Amp, 200x1, model MRP-M450. The amp has about 6 months use on it as well.

It is beige in color.

$160 shipped.

I completely rewired my stereo pulling out all the factory stuff.

To the second question, I pulled out the sub entirely due to putting on a rear cargo door panel. Since I upgraded all my speakers and still have a good 4 channel amp it sounds pretty decent. The JL's definitely sound better than stock.
