What the F gives????? Let me tell you a true story.. I have had this truck for 6 years. Early on in my ownership I had to have this DII painted and all 5 MT's replaced. The truck and paint only had 50,000 k on them and I had just done a lift and put the Tires on. Some total A-hole cut the paint to the metal and slashed all of the tires. Did I mention that three months later after fixing this it happened again. SOOOO I fix the same crap x 2. Many months go by and many off roading trips later "Plus the usual d2 crap we all deal with". I wreck the rig, you know no"NO Big Deal" just a bent axle housing/grenaded CV/blown motor mount/minor body damage/bent tie rod and draglink the usual... you had to see the other car the RTE front bumper is a wrecking ball!!! Sooo I put on the big boy pants and fixed her up.
I have since beaten the living crap out of the truck on the trail and have loved every outing. After all we have been through so much! The night before Thanksgiving the D2 took a close range shot gun blast to the b pillar. The shot went through into the "sagging" headliner and stopped when it hit the steel roof. No one saw and no one heard a damn thing. The cops said the truck looks like it should be in Beruit not the City of Richmond.. After all this Shit I can only laugh and keep on rolling. After all she has been slashed,smashed,wrecked,popped, too many wrenches turned to count,and now SHOT... Makes the Tres Amigos sound like walk in the park. 117,000k and She just wont quit....Happy Rovering!!! "stay tuned" Pix to follow...
