Ding Dong

Is there anyone else out there with an LR3 that dings for no apparent reason? My LR3 dings all the time. It?s not cold enough for it to be the freezing chime. It happens when I am slowing down or accelerating. At low speeds and high. The dealership did not know anything about it.

well.. the climate chime, the door open chime, the suspension raising or lowering chime..

does it say anything in the message center while it chimes?

Is the suspension lower or higher than it wants to be for the speed you are going?

mine does this too, dealer had no idea except to say it may be the cold ding or the low tire pressure ding, no display on the console when it happens for me either... thankfully mine hasn't ding donged lately..

These are all good guesses but the suspension has been at normal height and the weather out side has been in the 70s. I have not checked the tire pressure.

Not uptight just looking to get an answer not play some idiotic ryming game

Do you have seatbelt sensors in the US models? They can go off if you have anything on the seat over 10Kg or so.

It has done it with a buckled up passenger and with out anyone or thing in the front seat... I do have a car seat in the back.

Can you be a bit more specific about the warning? There are quite a few different warning patterns. For instance, the seatbelt warning emits around 10 consecutive chimes (about 2 per second), pauses for a few seconds and then repeats.

Not sure what is so funny... I do not think the chime comes on when the blue tooth activates.... Oh and by the way "dickhead", "moron" and "Smart Guy" are not nice things to call someone.
