Disco 1, 2" body lift

I?m contemplating on installing a 2? body lift from Rovertym on my 95 Disco 1.
I?m running OME shocks and springs (heavy duty) and BFG?s 285/75/16. I?m
looking for a little more separation from body and tire. Any input from anyone
who?s experienced this modification would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm running the RTE Springs and 2" Body Lift and love it as well!

I agree some folks seem to hate it, but most of them are not running the BL.

Installation is fairly straight forward and easy. You may have some problems with the seat belt retainers as mine were seized up bad. Get under your rig now and soak them with a penetrating oil.. or you may need some bandaids on hand for the bleeding knuckles... :D

I've heard some have problems with the cdl engaging and disengaging after the lift. A small adjustment may be necessary which means getting at the cdl linkage.

I've had them on all but one of my 4 rovers. very inexpensive way of adding clearance. Really does not create any great issues other than gaps at the bumpers. RTE also sells offset bumpers. Some donot mind the gaps others hate them, all a matter of opinion.
