Disco 1 DRL connection

Hello,
from some years ago in my country is required to drive with dimmed Headlights "on" during the day.
As Disco 1 does not allow to leave the light switch permanently on, because lights don't go off together with engine, you may forget to turn on the lights, for example after refueling.
This has brought to some people in the last times some unexpected tickets by "forgotten lights".
I just made myself a PCB to manage it, but as many mates here are interested to install it, I'm working in an intend to make a "connect specification".
Is there an "official" DRL kit available for Disco 1? How is it prepared in order to connect it?
Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly, that is a computer setting. You might call your local land rover dealership service department and ask them. If it is infact a computer setting, the should be able to change the setting for you. I believe they were required in Canada. I could be wrong though.

This is certainly true on D2. I set my 03 for DRL, and sure enough the headlights come on when I start the thing, but they seems just as bright as ever. I'm wondering if additional hardware is required for the lower power DRL.

Like maybe this for the 99-02:

I'm not sure how D1 or newer D2 does it.

The previous owner did it on my D1, but it wasn't in the computer. His solution involved adding some relays to turn the lights on when you turn the key. It Doesn't affect anything else and works just like any other DRL, really simple. My truck is a 95.

Thank You for the answers.
Yes, Discos1 don't have a programmable DRL. I did a small PCB, that turns lights on, turns them off if lights are manually connected, and can be disabled by pressing "rear fog lights" prior to start.

I'm prepairing some from these for my mates here

For connection I used derivator clamps.
