I was trying to help pull a truck of out a ditch and I had to drop to low to pull it out. I put my Disco 1 in park to reposition the tow strap but it kept moving. I put in 4wd high and it drove ok and all gears/gear selections work. I did the same in 4 WD low and all worked. There is no visable leaks or damage.
I am thinking that maybe my Disco 1 slipped out of low because I did not push the knob all the way up to engage 4wd low. (I did switch while on a strap and could not drift far to engage Low. Is this possible or could there be something else wrong.
