Disco 1 rear door check stay pivot

This is the pin with the circlip on it to keep the rear door from opening too far. Mine is broken but I can't figure out how the old one is put in. Anybody know if it is threaded? welded? I need to replace mine. BTW its on a 97 Disco 1.
