I have a set of rubber OEM floormats from my DII for the front and rear seats. They're in like new condition.

$50 + shipping. Local pickup available this week in CT. After that I'll be Boston.

Looks like I will hopefully find a way to meet up with Greg H.

Yeah I ended up selling the DII. It sat over last winter because it was too cold to fix it. After fixing the heads, the throttle was messed up. It eventually figured itself out. But then the amigos were on, it was in need of a new wheel hub, the back sunroof wouldn't open and was leaking.

I would have been more than happy to continue doing the little projects on it it, however my parents had enough. They just saw it as a never ending money pit (which lets be honest it is, there always seems to be something wrong). I really do miss it. Actually I miss my first Disco even more. On the very rare occasion I see a Disco 1 LSE it makes my stomach turn. It was my first car and is was in absolutely mint condition, not even a scratch (it was some guys weekend car it's entire life).

I have a pretty good deal now. I got my older sisters 2003 Grand Cherokee Limited and she got a new one. It's no Land Rover but it has QuadraDrive (front & rear variable locking diffs with center locking) which honestly kicks the crap out of just Traction Control. It doesn't have the same feel, visibility, weight, weight distribution, or the refinement of the LR but it's not bad at all for a 19 year old. On the plus sides it has 70k miles, unlimited mileage warranty, and the high output V8 which is incrediblely torquey. I can beat my friends '01 530i in a straight line from a stop.

Anyways, I would love another Land Rover. If I could find a real cheap Range Rover Classic I'd buy it in a heartbeat. After I graduate college in another 5.5 years buying another Land Rover will be at the top of my agenda.

I plan one day to have a small collection. My daily driver, a restored 1995 Classic SWB, and a restored P38. Perhaps a 1998 Disco LSE to fulfill the void in my heart.

Only 5 more years of pharmacy school... 95% of pharmacists I know have some obscure unrelated hobby that they usually spend more time puttering with than actually doing pharmacy work (i.e. guns, coin collecting, following sports obsessively, stock broking, etc). I suppose my thing will be fixing up old Rovers.

Ah, Disco's aren't my intrest, my fleet will include a mid 80's 90 CSW, my current DD 97 4runner 5 speed, and a MKIV Jetta TDI. I had a 95 D90 (Dad's toy, i used as DD) and have a 99.5 Jetta TDI (Dad's DD) and i have the 4runner and love it (leaks just like a rover) so i have driven and owned all the cars on my future fleet. I have the rest of this year in HS and then 4 years of college.
