Discovery 1 Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank

I have a few questions regarding the Aluminum Expansion Tanks available to purchase for my 1998 Discovery 1. First, there appear to be expansion tanks with two differing styles of cap: one that fits the stock, plastic pressure cap; the other, however, comes with a different, aluminum pressure cap. What are folks' recommendations, and, has anyone tried the expansion tanks being sold on eBay and advertised as "Aluminium Coolant Expansion Tank for Land Rover Discovery 1 200 300 TDi V8 PLS?" These are the tanks with the aluminum pressure caps.

I have one of the cheapy eBay ones. It looks like good quality and fits perfect. However, I have not put it in service.

Nothing wrong with the seamless plastic tanks.

I replaced the black plastic tanks on both my Rovers with the opaque white plastic tanks. Another good buy from Will Tillery. Plus they work with existing caps and you can eyeball the fluid level at a glance. I can't speak to aftermarket on this point, but on principle I like having clean, maintained pressure release caps. I've put too much time and effort into rejuvenating my cooling systems to overlook that detail.

I have had 2 of the clearish tan reservoirs fail at the seam.
