Discovery 200TDi $6600

Not mine, but I saw this on ExPo. A running Disco 1 with a diesel drivetrain is definitely worth the $6600 asking price.

Ok how did they get an early 2 door into the States? It's not a 97 so while I hate to be "that guy" ...... I think there a little VIN manipulation going on. Just be careful.

Doug is right. Its a 200 series disco fitted with a 300 series dash. Headlights are a dead giveaway for 200 series.

IIRC, this turd was on CL recently and it was quite rusty.

Translation: I swapped the dash from a 97. Now its a 97.

I am not disagreeing with you guys to be careful However, when is the last time you saw a running TDi drivetrain for near this price. The truck itself looks like a pig, but with the right vehicle, you could install this drivetrain and have a nice, running diesel Land Rover.

I loved my 3 door. Would love to have another one, but not a 6K time bomb that i cant register.

One note, i dont know if the 3 door RRC's had the same problem too, the front seat mounts broke a lot. Im far from a fat guy, but i had to have mine welded back together 4 times. Not the sturdiest of designs.

Still want another 3 door.

that thing was for sale as a 92 parts vebhicle with no vin tag or title about 6 mos ago... peculiar....

i want one to make a long ranger out of.... (2 door)
