Personally, they should have called it the Officer Hopps edition.

Is there only a rear winch?

I'd much rather have the standard new Discovery with the diesel. That looks like what an FJ Cruiser owner would buy if they could afford it.

Go drive one. I did (not SVX). One word...Chincy.
My opinion this SVX marketing is to try and resuscitate sales. My local dealer still has the original one they were shipped.

Sure. Who wants to pay LR prices for a Ford Explorer?

We checked one out at ABFM recently after browsing rows of Series and Defenders. The dealership booth had a D5, Velar and F-Pace. The wife shrugged and asked why these "regular cars" were so expensive.

Eventually you guys will have to come to understand this is how all vehicles will look and be built.

Manufacturers are not going to spend millions to incorporate usdot items on a utility vehicle just so .5% of the US consumer base will buy it.

find a new hobby! Like making artisanal mayonnaise or making organic beard oils.

It's understood. I wont be buying one though. I'd rather spend 50k maintaining a fleet of classics, or a crew cab truck, than on these heaping piles.

Is the spray-on mud a Land Rover-specific item, or will it fit any car?
I'd like to get some for my jeep.
Do you think it comes with a template to show you where to spray it?
I'm wondering how they got the spray in front of the front tires..

I understand. Doesn't mean I have to own one. Ironically the people who care about artisanal mayo or beard oils are likely the crowd buying these new discos. Goes well with their stubbs & wootton shoes and louis vutton wallets. I mean that is the target market, right?

In favor of the one who prepared photograph, I can say it's easy to produce it by moving through mud in reverse. With these "regular cars" I guess it's a frequent thing to have to return back to retry...

Regards
spray pattern would be different from driving in reverse.
ignoring the fact the vehicle is sitting on rock.
the spray pattern in front of the front tires came from a source in front of the vehicle.
it's like blood spray.
