what is it that makes the rover's headlights so damn annoying to other drivers?

i drove by 6 vehicles that flashed me last night, total.

one of those included was a cop.

worst part was that i used to not give a shit, but lately it's been happening so frequently that i have developed a fast trigger finger. to let these turds know what my brights actually look like. flashing the cop was a bad idea, but i had gotten so good with the finger that i couldn't help it. luckily for me he didn't turn around.

it can happen with cars, trucks, suvs, anything really. many times they leave their brights on for awhile too...dicks!


anyway, how often do you experience this rubbish?

i also get the other kind of flashing, but that is less frequent, unfortunately...:D

Some people flash me as well. I have my hellas hooked to my brights so whenever someone flashes me, they know I didn't have my brights on.

funny shit is that right now i have one silverstar & one crappy ass $8 yellow bulb.

so it's not even at full brightness.

my personal fav is 'the duel.' when they put their brights on, & you match it with yours.

rather than them admitting their fault and switching back to normal lights they leave there shit on until you pass. i swear the whole time their wife is ell at them to stop & hopefully their kids are all blinded & crying. but this guy is still determined to too let me know my lights are too bright!

I like to wait until the last second, just before passing and blast the the car with my brights, they have no time to react. I do this when I feel like being a dick, so it's a nightly even when i'm on the country roads.

Maybe upgrade to the DII lamps. I have HID's in mine and no one flashes me. My Fiance, who is really anal about "bright lights" road around me and gave me the all clear. I think I remember reading somewhere that the DII's had a nicer cleaner beam? maybe im wrong.

i guess i am the anomaly. my shocks are old as the truck, maybe they bounced themselves back out of order. i recall being flashed even when i had matched lamps. i think i'll recheck them at work tonight just to be sure. hate to be driving around like a retarded halibut for the last couple months.

i like the d2 lamps, i'm just not into buying any unless i break mine.
