I have given up trying to collect $650 they have owed me for over a year. I ordered a transmission for a D1 and they shipped the wrong unit. Then it took weeks for them to take it back. By then I had to source one locally. They have said several times that they would issue the credit "That day", but it never happened. They have said they will look into it and get back to me. But they never do.

I have been too patient up to this point. BUT no more.

If you have a record of the credit card transaction and of the return shipment. It sounds like you have yourself a slam dunk small claims case. I would also report them to the BBB.

Notify your credit card that you returned the purchased item and no credit has been issued and thus you dispute the charge. They should credit your card with the correct amount and they will then take it up with the vendor. Let them deal with it.

I have always been quoted crazy prices from them so i have never shopped with Tidewater before, all the more reason not to now.

buy parts from them two years ago and never got the parts. called my credit card to dispute the charges after two weeks tidewater credit the charges. thats its i will never buy from them again. buggers!!!
