Go to Tractor Supply, get a small roll of hog/cow mat. It comes in different thicknesses. It's a dense rubber that's tough as hell. That would help absorb noise pretty well, lay the carpet over it.

Good idea. I've got a few in the garage to stand on at the workbench. I've pulled the 95's maxipad to prevent any other damage. The pads that I have from TSC are pretty thick, maybe they come in different thicknesses. I was just planning on several layers of DIY bedliner, assuming my buddy wouldn't spray it for me.edliner

Up next is an excessive amount of dynamat and bedliner. I also took a sawzall to the fenders and added some trim to clean it up.

Hey...are you still planning to make the trip to E TN next month? I'm almost ready. I got the front linked. As soon as I finish this and swap the PS box, I'm done.

Looking good. Gives me hope.

Need to find you at Windrock next month. I may do something similar to my SG 3-link. I have the right hand drive knuckle set up too so that I can move steering in front of the axle.

Yeah...my front is just a bastardized SG kit. I used the x-member and the uppers from the kit. Center link and mounts are custom. I plan on being in Knox for most of the week hanging out if you're around.

I got it about %90 done tonight. Just finished up. I replaced all of the factory sound insulation with double sided sound deadening jute. I also used Dynamat Extreme on about half the floors including the rear tub, front doors and cargo door. I also used bed liner and rust primer on all new metal. Everything was seam sealed and under coated as well. All I have left is to clean up the sliders before I mount them back up.
