I've seen a guy in a D90 prevent vehicle damage when he was off camber and about to ruin his body work doing that, he got lucky. This guy deserves that, and demonstrates what USUALLY happens when you try something stupid like that.
... or complete ignorance and/or lack of common sense coupled by a desire not to damage the truck

When Will hosted that Christmas thing in Roanoke (I think), someone in an 03/04 Disco trapped their arm between a tree and their door. He got lucky since we were able to push on the car as he backed up to free his arm.
