Door Lock Actuator?

'02 D2 had a problem with Right Front Door Lock not working via remote or from dash push button. After researching the forum, I figured that it was the lock actuator. Today I had another project to complete first, the Left Front window actuator replacement; finished that and went to check locks and now the window works great but none of the locks work electronically (either from remote or dash) except for the tailgate lock. The weird thing is that all the doors can pushed to lock manually except the left front which won't lock at all. Weirder still if I "double lock" from the remote all the doors lock except the left front. However, none will unlock electronically (only manually).

Took the door trim off again and nothing seams to be interefering with the new window actuator. Is it likely that the problem was the left front lock actuator all along and it just got worse? I think I read that it also controls all the other doors too.

I checked the fuses and tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery with no luck in case it was some kind of Superlock issue. Any thoughts?

by your description, it seems to be your alarm has lost power, the signal receiver is mounted on the roof in the middle of the car inline with the b pilars, make sure it has power to it... if it does suspect a bad transmitter unit, if it does not have power trace the reason.

Thanks. I'll check the transmitter. Definitely makes more sense as it appears to be a problem with how it locks and unlocks rather than the lock mechanism itself.
