When I hit the button on the remote to lock or unlock the doors, sometimes one or two door locks won't go up or down. Or won't go completely up.

Is there something in particular that I should look for? Worked fine up until a couple weeks ago.

How do I get the door panel off without screwing it up?

Thanks,
BP

To start off, oil the crap out of everything in there. Once you get the trim panel off its pretty easy to see everything moving. I just oiled all the joints. If that doesn't help - then the actuators for door locks need to be replaced. Its an easy job but can get spendy if you need to replace a few of them.

I don't know what its supposed to be called, but I call it a door trim remover. It looks like a weed pulling tool and is slightly pronged so that it gets around the plugs that attach the inside trim to the door. Even with the tool, some of the plugs get damaged though. I've seen cheap bastards use forks before wrapped with a little bit of masking tape to avoid scratching the paint. The plugs are somewhere around 2 bucks each at the dealer, and cheaper at a regular auto store.
