Not sure how to properly describe these, but I'm looking for some exterior door trim--take a look at the two pictures below. My old '95 RRC in a snowstorm in 2006 and my "new" '95 LWB when she came off the shipping truck from Texas. I'm also posting a pic that Will Tillery posted once he fixed the damaged SWB so you can see what I'm talking about.

The LWB just looks so darn, well, LONG to me. I think because I was used for 13 years to seeing that black trim along the doors.

Were those after-market or just standard on the RRC and not the LWB?

I'm just always curious about the differences between these guys when they rolled off the line.

And ideas on where to get these for the LWB (do they just stick on with adhesive?) (I'm already sending Will Tillery an email to see if he has the trim or can get it :) )

Thanks! The LWB is mechanically splendid (I am LOVING my new 4.6, gonna change the oil on Saturday), so now I'm working on getting her to look the way I want her to!

I can't find it this morning, but I can remeber seeing a set of those, without the chrome/metal strip in the middle just black with range rover lettering on the back piece, for $169...I was thinking it was in the ab sale book...I will look later on...

Were any of the trim pieces dealer added options? In the trim piece a branch ripped off my truck, it was just glued on.

OK, Rovers North and Atlantic British no longer stock these parts (weird, Eric at RN told me that they had the trim for everything except the right rear door of the LWB; whereas AB told me they once stocked the kit but no more).

So I'm on my quest to find a set locally so I don't have to deal with shipping...

Rangerovers.net has lots of pix with LWB with the trim. I suspect the PO of mine took them off (he also added the red Euro markers on the rear panels, which I don't like). It really looks funny without the trim!

Thanks, I emailed Paul Grant. My mechanic was also parting out his LWB last I saw it, but I think that had a hit to the right rear quarter panel and door... I know it is silly to obsess over cosmetic stuff. But I still have the air suspension too, so I just walked out to the car and it is sitting all low and looks ridiculously pimped for some reason (like I somehow tried to morph my classic to look like a new HSE or something...).
