I hardly ever lock this truck at home since 2006.
Now, for the last month or two the doors will just lock...sometimes while driving; but mostly when just sitting parked.
I havent heard of this in Classics...is it in the actuators?

Until I replaced the actuators I'd get stuff like that (mostly unlocking) where the front doors argued with each other. If the plunger didn't go down all the way, the switches in the actuator would think the door is being unlocked and unlock the rest of them. Since my alarm locks the doors when the truck is started, sometimes they'd unlock right away. sometimes it'd be 20 miles down the road when I hit a bump.

Take the door panel off the driver's side front door and check the condition of the window lift channel. As they deteriorate they spread apart and interfere with the locking mechanism.

ren, you mean the central locking unit or something else entirely?

Someone else mentioned to me the gas door may be tricking the system? I dont know.

I pulled the fuse for now so they'll quit jumping up and down...

I took out the "keikert" central locking ecu and all the actuators and replaced them with a $35 kit from ebay.
