My down Hill Desent doesn't sence the gearbox is in low. Is there a switch that has gone bad or what am I missing?

If you look at the RAVE, there is a high/low switch on the transfer case. It could have gone bad, though I'm not sure what else the issue could be.
Is there supposed to be a light illuminated on the dash when one shifts into Low range? My t-case neutral light/ping comes on, but I don't have a low-range indication. Haven't tried HDC.

I had a similar situation on my '02 Disco. Looked underneath, and there is a sensor switch, for lack of a better term, on the T-case which tells the system that the t-case is in low. The electrical connectors had gotten a bit corroded. I pulled them off, cleaned them up, etc., and no more ding-ding-ding, and everything worked.

hmm, i don't think mine activates unless it is, but I dont care and never use it. it is a recipe for disaster when it cuts out and you are flying down a bumpy hill with no brakes because the abs is going buck wild.
according to rave, it works in all gears in low range. It has different 'target speeds' for different gears and throttle positions.
ill try it next time i think about it. I have a very early D2, so.... coujld be different or I could be high.
