I haven’t posted in awhile! But last time you guys helped me a lot with my issue! Unfortunately I sold my 2004 Disco II and I was really itching to get another one. All the sudden I was driving on the interstate one day and I found one for $350 on the side of the road and I had to snatch it up. I can post some photos of how it was! But it has some issues. (Of course it will for $350). There also was a surprise in the air box.
Car Info: 1999 Land Rover Discovery II, 199,000 miles.
Issues: When I got the car it was sitting for a year outside not running. It did not have a belt on it and the fluids looked okay. Put a new battery in it, new belt, and a new alternator. I’ve been trying to start it but I can’t get the key out of the ignition and what has been showing up is the M&S lights, oil light and service engine soon light. I’ll attach a link I have on YouTube below. I checked the Codes and found two pending ones, P0722 (Output Speed Sensor Circuit) and P0705 (Transmission Range Sensor A). I’ve been researching online that this indicates bad voltage to the car but I’ve been digging around with a multimeter and haven’t found anything array. Also the X,Y,Z switch but I haven’t dug into that project yet to go and check it out. Do you guys have any suggestions? I really love these Discos and want this one to come back to life! I can also post more photos if you want to see how it looks. #DiscoIsntDead
