I know leaking oil is no real surprise for a rover, but...

I took the truck to a mechanic a while back, he replaced the sump - it was cracked.
So today, I'm changing the oil.
Every single bolt on the sump has oil on it.
Like the oil is leaking around the bolt, and dripping off the head.
dammit.
So, I remove the drain plug... copper washer?
Nope.
A steel one.

WTF.
It being sunday, and i don't have another vehicle available today, I had to reinstall the steel washer.
double dammit.

So, tomorrow, I'll goto the dealership & get a washer.
or two.
and next oil change, put the correct copper washer on.

It's not like this guy doesn't know any better.
or maybe he doesn't.
or more likely, the shopmonkeys that work for him who speaka no ingrish, don't know or don't care.

godfuckingdammit.

Doesn't sound to bad. When I first got my D2, the dealer changed the oil for it's service interval. Well, come to find out, I had to take it back because the mechanic stripped the oil plug hole, and it was leaking all over the place.

They offered to put a heli coil in it. Uh, no, go right ahead and put a new oil sump on please.
