driver side marker light out

I have a 2000 DII and my driver side marker light went out. Would like to know how to access the bulb. Searched and could not come up with anything. Do you pry off the lense from the outside or do you have to go from the inside. Can't get access to the bulb from the engine compartment nor from underneath the truck. Saw a panel by the door hinges, is that the way to get in. looks awful tight to reach in there though. any help appreciated.

just pop the light off from the outside. One side has a tab that slides in behind the body panel, the other side is a clip that holds it in. simple.
