driver's side rear brake lamps

I've replaced them twice with new bulbs and still do not work. First time, I used autozone lamps and they didn't work. Then I figured I needed Land Rover lamps from the dealership, bought them, installed them but still nothing.
Is there a fuse or a relay specific to that circuit? All other lights -exept LR aux driving lights- work fne.
any ideas?

What Model? D1 or D2. Have you checked the grounding wires on that side. Have you checked for voltage?

1999 DII. As for the ground, I think it is a common ground cable for the lights on that pilar, right? if that is correct, the grounding wires are ok. I'll check the voltage.
