98 D1,
Anyone know a source or have a spare for just the roller and pin to replace it when the nylon roller decides to shatter in the track? Motor, lift arm and everything else is fine
TIA

alot of people have tried to replace that thing without much success....i saw a thread the other day about someone trying to replace it and it didnt work well. this is a super common problem with discos. i've replaced three regulators on mine so far. the prices of new ones have gone down a little but still expensive. i got a used one from will tillery for $30. however it got damaged in shipping, and i couldnt wait any longer so i had to order a new one anyway. the "regulator" is just the metal arm mechanism. the motor is seprate and rarely needs replacing

Yup, its sort of ironic that the whole thing needs to be replaced, yet on my Porsche the almost exact same parts - pivot pin and roller, can be bought for under $4 and its an easy, almost identical repair. They actually are so close i'm going to try and use them, if it works, I'll post back the Porsche part numbers and sources for anyone who wants avoid the LR parts sources!
