anyone have the procedure for it? any special fuel line clips needed? I have the GM size ones. looks pretty self-explanatory. replacing the fuel pump cover, getting a nice whiff of gas after driving for more than an hour and according to the internet that seems like its usually the culprit.

I would smoke it before I threw that dart.

Ya think so? I already bought the parts, only $65. There’s a thread on another forum that has a a decent amount of people w the same issue. I think someone had theirs smoked by the dealer and they couldn’t see it until they pulled the fuel tank.

Taking a break after replacing the part. Big ass crack in the original part. Fuel pump area was all wet with fuel. Scary shit.

Yea for once. Not a bad job, 4 hours from pulling into the garage to closing up the tools. Prob could get it done under 2 on a lift and a tranny jack.

Glad it’s taken care of. Fire is no joke.
