Cant remember which years of the DII that DID NOT come with locking CDL...

was it mid 99 to 2003?

and was it the "Late model" 99's and early model 2000's that the CDL mechanism could still be added back to engage the CDL

mid 2001 to mid 2003. There is a current post that has an 03 with a CDL option...

I posted on another tread that I have the CDL on my 03 Disco II HSE, what I don't know is if it came from the factory with it or if it was added by the Dealership. I know that my owners manual covers it like it was added at the factory. I'll see if I can call them and check what the full story is. Also I'll check later for the manufactor date of the vehical.
I have read that it was standard on the 2003 everwhere except on the North American vehicals, but I can't remeber where I read that.

Maybe someone outside of the USA can chime in and tell us if it was in fact standard on the 2003 European models.
