Wanted to get some insight on troubleshooting an EAS issue. Getting an intermittent yellow EAS light, which goes off after restarting vehicle and have not been able to recreate yet. The driver rear corner suspension dropping significantly. Essentially from standard to access within 2-3 hours (whether EAS fuse is installed or removed). Pulled fuse, and it isolated to passenger rear. However, the drop being isolated to this corner seems to be nearly the same with the fuse in place which was confusing to me. I expected the entire truck to drop somewhat evenly with the fuse still in as it attempts to level itself. Sprayed fitting and air strut with Windex and saw no air bubbles or leaking noise. I do plan to pull the tire to investigate further but nothing obvious on first look. Previously had leaking front strut, which leaked much slower than this, but showed both bubbles and audibly leaked. Seems height sensor would be ruled out as it dropped when vehicle was off and fuse removed. In my experience, a bad valve block would have generally dropped both rear corners somewhat equally. While I can’t completely rule out the strut I see no visible or audible cues to indicate an issue. What should I look at next in terms of live values or testing to continue troubleshooting this. TIA

Does the LR3/4 have an EAS disable button? It sounds like pulling the fuse does this? On my RRC, hitting the disable button it no longer self-levels and will sit as parked for weeks. EAS enabled, it will self-level itself down.

Anyway, it sounds like you have located the leaky corner. I would check all the hose/collet connections for leaks, particularly if any section of air line has recently been removed or serviced.

In true Rover fashion the problem has seemingly fixed itself. Can only assume a valve in the valve block was getting stuck partially open. To be continued…
