I think he just got off the EE site talking about watches and gourmet cheese, because they are ignoring him.

This is pretty funny coming from you.

Ok, we have a few, "We have snow ha ha" posts, a couple "I can't go" posts, about 3 "When and where" posts, 2 love birds trying to out yuppie each other and only one (other) person who can make it.
I think this trip is a wash.

I've been wishing for a snow run since it got cold but my disco just isn't right at the moment (bad springs and broken winch). I'd take my wifes 04 but I would have to promise her I wouldn't damage it and that's not a promise I can make given my record.

I know I can't go Sunday. I have to work.

But B4W will be here again this year on the 14th of Feb for their annual snow run. This is the group we went out with last year.

They'll be staying at the Village Inn starting Friday. They'll run trails all day Saturday, and some will go out Sunday (but most head home Sunday).

I don't know times, yet. They typically eat breakfast at like 8am at Village Inn, then stage at the fair grounds around 9ish.

I finally got my Jeep running after its embarrassing time at the Cove, so me and a couple of other Jeeps are going to Shoe Creek on Sunday if any one wants to go with. We are leaving from the Target parking lot at 1:00.

Dude! Is it true you took $150 from a guy that helped you field repair that Jeep at the Cove?

I told him I didn't want it but he felt bad because as I was leaving to go home my wheel came off because he didn't put my stub shaft back in and that is what keeps the wheel on. So he felt bad and he thought that would be the cost of fixing it. I felt bad for taking it and he was a really nice guy and I appreciated all that he did that weekend.

Does the Village Inn have rooms with heart-shaped beds and whirlpools?

The beds aren't heart shaped but for a quarter they will vibrate. They also have decent hourly rates and mirrors on the ceiling.

Sweet. Do I call the front desk for escort service?

Kavic and I worked at Belle Meade during high school.

Not that along ago, I was......well......you know........doing it with this girl....and there was a mirror next to the bed. I thought I'd take a peek to see how I was doing and well........I was not impressed. Thank god she couldn't see from her vantage point.

Maybe some on the ceiling would be better. I dunno.

Went on a impromtu camping trip 2 weeks ago at switzer dam with my brother in law and a couple of his buddies. We camped at the same place along the creek that Dan, Tami and I went to after the trail cleanup last April with Chuck and Jeff. The improvements we made are still there and doing their job. The sign that was put up by Deer Garden had some fresh paintball splatter on it, but still there with info on the boards.

Camping was COLD. -2 on the small thermometer someone had when we checked it in the morning. A bunch of Tidewater guys showed up later that day and we ran trails up to the top of red knob, meadow knob or something like that. Trails were nothing too crazy, a stock D2 was up there when we came thru. There was no real snow, but the ice on the trail gave it a bit of pucker factor. I needed a strap when I started sliding on a patch of ice towards a very steep drop part way up the mountain.

I wouldn't mind another trip to that area again in Feb for some winter camping and wheeling.
