?A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.?

If all the problems of the last 4 years were George Bush's fault, whose fault will be the next 4 years?

YAY! Obama Wins!
4 more years of:
bailing out big banks & Wall Street at the expense of Main Street
Keeping interest rates low so folks who haved saved get screwed
Not just "savers" get screwed; pension plans, insurance companies, anyone who tried to achieve a reasonably safe rate of return
Violate Federal Bankruptcy Law to benefit UAW
Give guns to mexican cartels, decide "no one broke any laws"
allow banksters to steal, decide "no one broke any laws"
Obamacare? wtf. "we have to pass it to see what's in it" wtf.
single-payer coverage for EVERYONE. congress, too.
Obamacare forces people to buy shit from private companies. Why? because the insurance companies bribed the gov't.
manipulated information about unemployment: evern notice how every single week's numbers are adjusted UPWARD after they're announced?
manipulated bullshit about inflation.

4 more years?
great. just fucking great.

Had a funny conversation last night.

Two ladies loudly proclaimed - one that she's a democrat in her heart (I used lowercase on purpose - because I believe she doesn't understand that neither party in the U.S. advocated monarchy), another - that, for her, if there's a choice between morals and money, she'll always vote for morals.
I was about to embark on the subject, but realized that neither lady has a job, hasn't had in the last 7-10 years, nor any of them is looking for one.

...and what was the funny conversation you had?

Several months ago my brother in law was spewing his typical BS about how we need more social justice, he doesn't mind paying more in taxes to help the needy, morals are more important than money, republicans are too greedy, the federal govt needs more more money to operate effectively, etc. ad nauseum. Coincidentally, at the time he had been recently separated from the longest career job he had ever held so he was unemployed.

Then a few months ago he picked up a new contract job making a good $70 per hour or so and working out of town 4 days per week at 10-12+ hours per day. All travel, lodging and per diem expenses covered of course.

In the days leading up to the election talking to him was like a breath of fresh air. "We have too many social programs that we cannot afford. How in the hell did we start letting the federal government take our paychecks, skim off their taxes, then give us the remainder? Why on the hell is the fed racking up so much debt?"

Someone finally got hit for the first time where it counts....in the wallet.

This example is why I submit that democrats have an incentive to keep people out of work. When someone starts to make a little money, the likelihood that someone will turn into a conservative goes up dramatically.

Speaking of election day, I can hear it now. Obama: General, I can't except your resignation until after election day, the facts can't come out on Benghazi until after this elicitation. We wouldn't want our little secret to change the minds of undecided voters. Oh, and keep your little skirt quiet or else.

This whole thing sticks to high Heaven and I truly hope the full truth emerges.....
