well im back to working on my series and im getting tired of screwing with the points(i mess with points enough on my old tractors) and i was looking at getting a pertronix unit. is the LU-144 the correct one or is there a different one i need for the lucas dizzy?

Figure out what distributor you have first as there are 2 Lucas dizzys used in Series trucks. But as long as you have a Lucas, then I think petronix will be available (no petronix available for the POS Duceller).

The Lucas 24D4 has a vernier adjustment on the vacuum pot. The Lucas 45D4 does not, otherwise, they look identical from the outside. Of course, the Ducellier is completely different - and I've heard nothing good about 'em.

Electronic ignition is simply *the best* upgrade you can make to a stock 2.25, but keep a spare set of points and a condenser in a baggie in case you ever have to go back....

Fit the control module in as cool a place as the wires will allow.
