yes, i did a search.

my key fob has stopped working. i opened it up and found that the battery had leaked.

what i've done:

cleaned it up really good.

replaced the battery with new.

i see that there are fobs for sale on eBay. any other suggestions?

thanks,

d.

So, does the fob work? New housings can be purchased to transfer the internals into. I've swapped fobs with the associated immobilizer from one vehicle to another with good but not 100% success. I've also replaced DII fob housings and the tactile switches on three of my vehicles with success.

Is it possible to get the little momentary push-button soldered to the circuit board? Before I could transfer the guts to a new case I bought the cap that contains the button itself fell though the hole where the case depressor used to be. I can do the soldering, just need the little push-button.

If you're talking about a D2 I've got spare switches. I'll send you 2 for $2 and postage. PM me if interested.
