Monday Morning, got to the end of driveway and engine stalls, starts up and away I go, a little stutter going up hill 1 mile away and then ok. Wed. & Thursday notice fluctuating RPM
never down, only up to maybe 1000 and then back to 700 [its norm rpm] Today again when started up to go home 700 to 1100 and back again almost a bouncing idle and stabilise at 700....... almost all the way home and engine just quietly dies, no re-start......
only other thing that I know is when diagnosing no temp reading on the cluster I had the single conector off and pulled straigt up on it and flexed the harness and engine just stumbled to almost dead and let go and goes back to normal 700 rpm.... this was going to be my project tommorow when the truck was at home..... at least it is in someones yard and safe and only 1 mile way......
please let me know your thoughts, I am going to remove/clean TPS and ICV, and look into the wire harness to see why no temp reading and the stumble when pulled on [which was about 1/2 inch rise/deflection of the harness......:banghead: -Andy
