My 95 Disco will stall immediately after the first turn of the key on cold start up unless I hold the gas pedal down a bit to keep the idle up. The enigine fires OK on start up but will then just quit. If I hold the pdedal down to keep RPM at around 1K for four or five seconds then the engine will be stay running.
I recently changed cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coolant tempterature sensor, and IAC. Changing the coolant temp sensor, which was a cause of the engine not starting and flooding before, and the IAC, the old sensor had so much carbon buildup it looked like a mushroom cap rather than a pointed peak, has greatly inproved the running of the engine burt this one thing persists. Granted quite minor but I guess I like to see everything working in tip top shape if at all possible.
Any suggestions??
Thanks
