I have done a re-ring and bearing rebuild on my 96 Disco. Runs pretty good but still has the error codes from the previous engine. Is there any way to reset without taking it to the $$$$$ dealership?

Some auto parts stores have OBD2 code readers that they'll let you plug into your truck to clear codes for free. In the long run, however, it might be worth investing the $80-$200 on one of these for your toolkit. This may not be the last time you need to use one.

Someone might know about this better then me but....I have done this but I dont remember the exact way. Disconnect I think the positive cable from the battery and step on the brake pedal for about 30 seconds. THis should reset your light. Dudes at AutoZone told me this when I asked them to clear the codes. They said they cant clear anymore bc some dudes car blew up or something like that.
