Working on my friends 94 D1 and when I went to get fuel there was a loud hiss when removing the gas cap. Is this a faulty purge valve? Thanks in advance...............

No, the 94's did not have the advanced evap system that is on the later Discoverys. My Classic (95) does the same thing.
