I?ve owned the Series for over ten years. It was originally imported by Rovers North in the late 90?s. The Rover started out life as a Ministry of Defense ambulance. It has less than 25,700 miles that I believe to be original. Highlights of the Rover include an unleaded head conversion, AC Delco alternator conversion, parabolic leaf springs, and manual locking rear differential with upgraded axle half shafts. The Series runs strong, shifts smoothly and is ready to be driven by its new owner. I found a home for the hard top that I have for the Rover. It is sold as pictured with the regular full length soft top. Contact me for additional pictures or questions. Truck is located in Springfield, Missouri. Rust Issues
The frame and EVERYTHING under the Rover were given a healthy coat of undercoating when it went into service with the Ministry of Defense. This has done an excellent job of protecting all the steel parts under the Rover. However when/if you want to work on something under the Rover, it can be a pain. You must first remove the hardened tar-like undercoating. There is only slight surface rust present on the frame, front forks, side outriggers, bulkhead, and rear cross member. No rust issues on the breakfast as well.
