Well, in honor of all the hard-working dads out there, here's something you can hit your significant other up for! And being the generous guy that I am, it's open to single guys, non-dads, and anyone that wants one.:applause:

Here are the specs:

My bumper is manufactured from heavy wall tubing, and includes an integral class III receiver, as well as integral quarter panel sliders. The bumper ships with the sliders unattached, which allows it to ship via UPS Ground from Charlotte, NC, and it is shipped in bare steel. This allows you to have it locally painted or powder coated to ensure that the color matches any other accessories that you may have installed. Pricing is as follows:

The bumper mounts in 12 locations (two where the factory hitch attaches to the rear cross member, two per side where the factory bumper attached to the frame, and three in each wheel well), as opposed to the factory's 2 locations. Installation requires that you remove your factory hitch (or you may delete the receiver from the bumper and retain your stock hitch. This, however, limits your rear departure angle) and that you trim approximately 6” from your lower quarter panels (instructions provided). Once the bumper has been properly aligned and fitted, a small bead will need to be welded along the perimeter of where the sliders attach to the bumper itself. The center mount (where the factory receiver bolted to the rear cross member) is now adjustable during fitting to allow for variances that have been encountered among the multiple years of DII production.

You will also be required to rewire your rear lights (again, instructions provided-two options available). You may also choose to have lights of your choice fitted locally. Pictures are available for viewing at DiscoWeb.org. Go to the Photo Gallery section, and then scroll down to the DII section. From there, select my name and then scroll through the assorted pictures.

This is one of the strongest DII bumpers out there and allows the use of a hi-lift around the entire rear perimeter of the vehicle from behind one rear tire all the way around to behind the other. In 14 years of production I have never been notified of a single bumper failing on the trail or being bent. I HAVE had several customers that were rear-ended and all they had to do was sand and repaint the bumper.

How much would the free shipping cost?

These are great bumpers. I'm really happy with mine.

The flat-rates I usually charge are in the original post. However, I recently shipped one to AZ and it cost right around $91 but I only charged the flat-rate of $65.

Keep in mind the above price includes shipping - so $600 to your door.
