John Bull is pretty popular with the heepers...but it comes with a body damage guarantee if you are not careful in a disco.

Gold mountain is a good intermediate one, and around gold mountain there are some cool mine workings and stuff to explore.

Here are some pics when we did John Bull. If you go to Nathan Woods website, he also has a map etc for the trail head location. I am in the white D1. No body damage, as I am lifted 5". However I did bust the engine mounts and bend a driveshaft. It can be done with no damage, carefully. It was a blast, and I strapped the engine in with a tiedown, and drove 2hrs home.

Bad ass! Thank you both. How is that gold mountain trail? I am not looking for anything too hard really as I will most likely be traveling in a single rover.

Thanks again.

PM me when you know the dates and maybe a few of us can meet you up there. My wife and I are in that area at least once a month.

Looks like my rating was justified... At least the three bottom entries.
Both of my rear trailing arms are bent, the paint's gone on the most of the rock sliders, plastic cover sheared off the rain gutter near the alpine window on the driver's side, half of the wheel balancing weights is gone, and it looks like I need new rubber.

Between Deep Creek down and Holcomb Creek (3N14 to Deep Creek), insert Holcomb Creek (from Deep Creek to 3N14).

no, very good, actually.

Damn Peter, sounds like my truck picked a crappy week to incur a problem! (fixed Saturday, BTW)

I'm assuming you made it to Big Bear with the club over the weekend? I'll have to try and make it some other time...
