Looks to be in great shape. If it was for a D1 I would be over to pick it up this evening. Why are you getting rid of it?

Great shape - I don't think I've ever actually driven with it. Started doing maintenance ... driveshaft... thermostat... and before you know it I'm rebuilding the engine. Don't ask

I'm happy with it... it's a very well made rack. But I bought it rather hastily soon after the car purchase and am having second thoughts. Maybe no rack at all. Maybe a less aggressive rack. Half length. Or a flat-bar style rack like the FrontRunner instead of the tubular baja. But for now I think I just want to drive without one until I figure out what I need. And the nice thing is I am moving to SoCal anyway - so Frontrunner and Baja will be close by.

According to Baja Racks website this rack will fit both D1 and D2 as the part number is the same for 1994 - 2004.

Interesting. The rack looks well-proportioned on the D2 in Jeff's photos, which makes me wonder if it might be on the long side for the shorter roofline of the D1. I've seen D2 SD racks on D1 roofs and they don't look quite right. I would be surprised if the designers at Baja Rack failed to take this into consideration when figuring this out. It makes much more sense to create a single rack sized for both D1 and D2 than to make separate models for each. The website photos do look good for the D1.

Rack seems to be mounted farther toward the front of the D1 on the site. Note that the C-pillar mount is in the area of the door opening, vs aligned with the pillar on the D2, and the front edge seems to overhang the windshield. On OP's pics of the D2, the front edge aligns better with the line of the windshield.
