FIRING an employee

Two of my employees quit on me in the last couple months. One back in mid November the other on wednesday

Neither of them gave a two weeks notice, just left.

The first one left because I told him he did his job wrong and that "we" needed to redo it. He got mad and told me to fuck off then I had to drive him 70 miles back to Midland to his truck and the job wasn't finished.

Funny thing is that guy is my cousin that's two years older than me and I was his boss. lol

I would be careful about what I post on a public internet site on this topic if I were you. Just a reminder.

That's true, but I'm not worried about him finding this. He barely knows how to play solitare on the computer as far as I can tell.

Not only that he knows I carry concealed so he knows to not mess with me

I only pray I never have to pull on anyone, but if I do, I'm not afraid to take care of business.

You're such a bad ass!

BTW, I think Axel's warning was for everyone who was posting about his/her situation and what they did/will do about it. Employee actions are supposed to be confidential. There is a reason why employers wont even give references any more. If a former employee can identify their boss and/or themselves in any of these threads, then I would bet money their attorney will be calling.

That's why I said in my original post that it isn't a good idea to be posting such topics on a public (or even a private) forum. Just a potential source for unnecessary trouble.
