I know we have discussed the book. And I just found the audiobook on Amazon's link.

THEN I found THIS:
http://www.teeafit.co.uk/firstoverland/index.htm

I'm ordering one asap. BUT, I have to get the book and read it first. I'm funny about the order of things...and I'm tempted to download the audiobook just b/c I love listening to the narrators, Tim Slessor and Antony Barrington Brown (what a WONDERFUL name!).

The DVD is actually a great travelology, even if it had nothing to do with rovers. Teeafit has still more video that was cut and did not make the DVD and is looking at working on an additional DVD using more footage. It is very good quality color video. On a side note, after I read the book for the first time last year, I wanted to find more photos of their expedition. I did a number of searches on the subject and eventually got to a forum in the UK, which BB Barrington (the photographer) had responded personally to and an email link. Hey, an email link....why not! And the old guy actually responded letting me know that there were no other publications for the photos, however the original print had more photos in it than the 50th version. He then gave me a link to teeafit website and that they were doing a DVD. And the BBC retained the rights to his photos, but it would make a cool coffee table book.

I lucked out, I bought it about 5 years ago for $35. It wasn't listed as a first edition but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.

Does it have a blue cover? I just found one on Ebay UK....
