Hi Guys,
Once again my rover has odd lights lighting up on it .
So I wake up to go to work today and find that I have the S and M lights flashing at my face
I used a code reader and found no codes. The manual said it means there is an electrical fault with the automatic gear box. I did some googling and found out that it could be many things but most often it is a dying battery, or a faulty sensor.
I just wanted to check in with you guys and see what you think. Should I try and replace the battery or go direly to replacing he crankshaft position sensor? Or if anybody else has any other ideas.
Some background. This is a 2003 Disco, car ran fine the day before, but the next morning I had the flashing lights. I did not see the lights flashing at me when I parked my car for the night.
Thanks for the help in advanced.
