Anyone have any recommendations for a good aftermarket FM antenna? I know that Atlantic British have some, and I've found the URO antennas sold by Rockauto/Partsgeek, but I'm hoping to find something a little higher quality and more durable. Thanks.

Bosch used to sell an amplified aerial unit, had an extended 'Rubber Duck' type spiral-wound aerial of about 18" long, had to be fed with 12V for the signal amplifier in the base. Haven't seen one for a while, still got a couple in the workshop. They were brilliant on FM.

Look on ebay for 'Amplified Antenna' or 'Amplified Aerial', lots to see.

Interested as well. My daily driver has an aftermarket head unit on the stock telescoping antenna. FM reception is OK but AM sucks balls as well.

I've got both on my 1999 GS, it has the High-Line audio system. It was originally part of the LR fleet, not sure what they did with it, but it was produced in November 1998 and first road-registered in June 1999, documents say Land Rover were the first registered owners.
