I was at Pull-A-Part scouting some parts for my 96 disco and found a 98 that has two fold-down seats in the boot area. I don't know if these were optional but can they be fitted to my 96? If so, do I have to do anything "creative" or just bolt them in?

I think the only difference is whether or not both vehicles have or do not have rear AC. You will need the plastic side panels, the seat frames behind them and the brackets that are bolted to the body. And the seats themselves of course. Don't forget to grab the seat belts as well.

I have a set of just the beige leather seats that anyone can have for the cost of the freight. I do not have the frames, panels or brackets for them, just the seats.

Roy -
+1 on rear A/C. If you don't have it, it's a piece of cake to install the seats even on the truck that never had them - last time I did it on the parking lot at lunch. But - you have to have all the brackets and seat belts along with the seats. It also helps if you can get the interior panels behind the seats - otherwise there's a bunch of holes you'd have to drill and cut in your panels.

Super !!!
I don't plan on putting in the rear A/C so hopefully I can sort it out. I'll go back to Pull-A-Part and try to get the panel that is behind the seat.
Thanks a bunch.

what about on an 04. I really need to get these in and think I found a deal with most parts but I cant be certain. panels, seats, etc., all there. question is, what is behind the panel that I need (I have an 04 S model). Also, is there something on the floor that I would be missing?
