This rover does needs attention:
4.6 gems motor is over heating, it may be the cooling system or it could be the block. I have a new water pump on the way so it can be properly diagnosed. It could use hinges on rear cargo door. There is corrosion in standard land rover spots. It needs tires. I have a NEW Oxygen Sensor that needs to be installed. Steering column recently taken apart and ignition sold out of it. It was replaced with another ignition but the key is different from the doors and the wires for the Python remote starter need to be connected again. The SRS light came on during this procedure but that light has never been on prior to that so its probably something that was not hooked up again or easily resent - needs more research.

I am working on getting this land rover running properly again and if successful I will not be selling it at this price. Should a buyer surface before I get it running properly or make significant investment on that front I am willing to sell it to you right now today for $4500 AS IS.

Somebody please put this cry baby out of his misery and buy this fucking albatross. The asshole drives it to me to part out so he can buy a fucking Vanagon using his brother's credit because he can't get a car loan.

The engine is pissing antifreeze everywhere. "But the gauge is only going into the upper white line!?!?!?" Asshole drove the truck all the way back from Canada last spring calling me on the way. "What should I do???" Tow the POS don't drive it.

Gave it to his mechanic who took five months to do a head gasket job and assorted other problems. At first I thought the mechanic was an ass. I've learned better now.

Get the fucking thing back and it overheats on the way home. Calls me in desperation. "What should I do." I should have a degree in fucking psychiatry dealing with this moron.

So, because he has bought parts from me in the past I agree to help him out. I take the car to part out. He provides me with a list of what prices are acceptable for each of the more expensive off road parts. IN ONE FUCKING DAY I SELL OR TAKE DEPOSITS ON WELL OVER $3000. Meanwhile, because his brother is kicking him off the couch, refusing to cosign a loan (which the bank already told him he still wouldn't qualify for) he contacts me telling me how I should hold out for the "highest bidder." That I should hold on to the to get as much money as possible because it's all he has left.

WTF, I try to help the guy out and raise cash, now he wants me to try to generate a bidding war over this shit? Fuck that, I have a business to run and don't have room to warehouse tents, bumpers and shit. So after hearing his sob story every few hours in email, text or phone call I told him to pick the POS up and get it off my propery.

SOMEONE RAPE THIS ASSHOLE AND TAKE THE TRUCK FOR PENNIES I HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR HIM WHATSOEVER.

I am exploring both options at this time, selling my land rover as is for $4500 and if a buyer does not appear and a good motor is available fixing it.

Seems logical to make the choice as more information on available motors and potential buyers comes to the surface.
