For sale is an Aluminum adapter to bolt a 200TDI or 300TDI up to a V8 pattern manual transmission:
LT95 4 speed, LT85 5 speed, LT77 5 speed, and R380 5 speed.

Fits all the manual transmissions with a v8 Belhousing.

New, but shop soiled.

I purchased this from Robert Davis in Virginia. He originally sold them for $599 plus shipping. In fairness. He is still selling them on another web forum. Also, the description above and the photos are duplicates of how he advertises them. I don’t know anymore about them than his description. I have decided to not do another 300TDI swap. As such I no longer need it.

That is why I purchased it, for a Discovery 1. Full disclosure, I was told it would work by the guy that developed them. I do not have first hand experience as I have decided to not do the project.

Yep, the guy that sold them, the above is all there is available. He sold a lot of them, though. Now he makes adapter plates to bolt inline Chevy 6 cylinder engines to Rover bell-housings. He also has done the same for both Mercedes OM engines to Rover bell-housings and I think he still does one to use with GM 2.5 liter 4 cylinders. He is a smart and talented guy but when he started selling them for half the price he originally did his “tech assistance” stopped. He is a bit ornery overall. For his current production products he makes you agree to not discuss publicly the price he charges. You have to contact him privately to even be given a price.

If I remember correctly , the V8 bell housing has to be modified to accept the 200/300tdi starter position which is on the drivers side (NAS V8 starter positing in on passenger side )
